Trouble Concentrating

Been having difficulty concentrating on books. One of the things that ending a marriage reveals to a person is there are no more walls or barriers to hide behind; or a book to hide in. My mind has been so wrapped up in the dissolution of my 18 year marriage, that it has been hard to immerse myself in a book. For the past several weeks, I have been reading the same books:

Dog Handling by Clare Naylor
Getting Over It by Anna Maxted

No, these are not self-help books, but by guessing at the titles, you would think so....

Also listening to Whispers by Lisa Jackson

Hopefully things will settle down soon and I get back into the one true passion in my life and that's reading...

I've been meaning to drop you an e-mail to let you know I've been thinking about you. I'm sooooo sorry for what you're going through!

That said, do you like to read category romance?? When I find I don't have much of an attention span I pull out a "short" book like a Silhouette Desire, and that helps. Also, anthologies!

Good luck, and enjoy that new apartment! Moving into new digs can be good for the soul....
